Aspects Festival 2007: Bryce, Granier, Fitzpatrick-Simmons, Tillinghast

1) What survives of this recording begins after Bryce read her first poem, and ends before Tillinghast finishes his reading. A corrupt USB key and human error are to blame for the loses. 2) Fitzpatrick-Simmons says her next collection will be called "The Lock-keeper's Daughter". In fact it is entitled "St Michael in Peril on the Sea" (Salmon Poetry, 2009). 3) Fitzpatrick-Simmons was married to Jimmy Simmons, noted Irish poet, musician, artist and broadcaster. They ran the Poets' House in Donegal. See the 'Recordings Pending' section of the SHCDA website for a list of historically important Poets' House recordings that have been generously donated by Fitzpatrick-Simmons. When, or if, the future of the SHCDA is secured, these recordings will be available online. Although not currently operational, see here for the Poets' House: http://poetshouseireland.tripod.com/index.html 4) Aspects Festival: http://www.aspectsfestival.co.uk/ 5) Paul Perry, who introduces the readers and conducts the interviews, is part of the Aspects Festival organizing committee.
